Magic Fudge

Whether I'm in a pinch to bring desserts for a party or I'm craving a chocolate treat to compliment a Nora Ephron movie night, this Magic Fudge is my go-to. The recipe originally came with the Magic Chef Microwave and my family has been making it ever since my mom opened the box back in 1976. Trust me on this.
Amelie Cobb's Magic Fudge (with my edits)
Dash salt
1 lb powdered sugar
1/2 cup cocoa (up to 2/3 cup ok)
1/4 cup mlk
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup nuts or peanut butter (optional)
Blend sugar, cocoa, and salt in a bowl. Add milk and vanilla. Melt butter in a separate bowl in the microwave for 2 minutes (all the way melted). Stir everything together then spread into an 8x8 pyrex. Top with nuts if desired. Freeze for 20 minutes or refrigerate for 1 hour. Cut in 1''x 1'' squares and enjoy!
